Programs Offered

This Los Angeles Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program complies with the state of California regulations and approved by the CDPH. We pride our program as being one of the CNA programs in Los Angeles. This 8 week course allows students to prepare for the Nursing Assistant state exam. We comply with the state required 60 hours of theory which can be completed online. The required 100 clinical hours will be completed at an approved onsite nursing facility. Our online CNA course prepares students to care for patients in the hospital setting, rehabilitation facilities, and home care. We emphasize and educate on the importance of personal safety and patient safety.

This course will prepare students to take the state exam in which a person can become a certified nurse assistant.

Through lecture, video, role-playing, hands-on skills demonstration, and clinical practice, our students learn procedural skills such as bathing, dressing, positioning, and vital signs. Students must maintain a passing grading score of 80% or higher to move on to the next learning module. Students also need to maintain at least a 80% upon completion of course in order to take the state exam. Students will also learn key communication techniques through life skills training including resume and interview preparation to prepare students for employment after graduation. After students graduate the NAT Program, they are eligible to test for the California Nurse Assistant State Exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).

Required technology and supplies to participate in the Hybrid CNA Program:

- Computer with Web Cam (Windows 10 or MAC OS 10.10 or later)

-CPR certification

-Internet Access

- Required Textbooks

- Nursing Uniform

-Google E-mail Account (Mandatory)

The program is $2300 and includes the following:

Textbook, workbook, online student portal, and one set of scrub uniform.
