Gifted Hands Nursing Institute program is in accordance and approved by the CDPH. This 7 week course allows students to prepare for the Nursing Assistant state exam for the state of California. We comply with the state required 60 hours of theory which can be completed online. The required 100 clinical hours will be completed at an approved onsite nursing facility located in either Inglewood CA 90305 or Los Angeles, CA 90027. Our online CNA course prepares students to care for patients in the hospital setting, rehabilitation facilities, and home care. We emphasize and educate on the importance of personal safety and patient safety. This course will prepare students to take the state exam in which a person can become a certified nurse assistant. The grade requirement for passing our training program is minimum 80%.

Through lecture, video, role-playing, hands-on skills demonstration, and clinical practice, our students learn procedural skills such as bathing, dressing, positioning, and vital signs. Students will also learn key communication techniques through life skills training including resume and interview preparation to prepare students for employment after graduation. After students graduate the NAT Program, they are eligible to test for the California Nurse Assistant State Exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
